The top five worst things

about tube feeding are:

5. making sure you have your extension tubing, syringe, and fluid with you wherever you go.

4. Ignoring the looks you get while "tubing" in a public place.

3. The reflux that often comes from having a piece of plastic stuck through your child's abdomen.

2. Changing the button in an emergency situation when your child has a full stomach.......

And the number one worst thing about tube feeding is.......drum roll.........

1. Waiting on gravity while the fluid goes down, so you can get to your other child who is purposefully making a mess of his dinner throwing food this way and that, since he knows you are stuck where you are because he knows you are tubing........

What a naughty boy! But with that smile, you can hardly hold it against him!

So refreshing to read that I am not the only one with a "differently abled" child who has siblings that take advantage of a situation. I know all too well how you feel!

I hate to laugh, but hahahaha. :) I think that trumps all the other annoying things about tubing. LOL

I'm laughing. That face in the last picture... it's completely irresistible!
