All new to me...............

My fourth baby and this is all new to me. I have never gone this far into a pregnancy, I have always been full term, but go past my due date? Is the baby so big it cant move down? Should I have had the c-section? All I have is questions now, and all I know is I have to have a healthy baby. I do not want to see the NICU again.
Whats wrong?!?!?! No regular contractions, and when they come they are barely uncomfortable.
I'm going to call my doctor today and see if we cant get things going sooner. The baby isn't moving as much, and I'm sure its because there is absolutely no more room to move. Or I hope that is why.
Baby just kicked:)
I'll let you know what the doctor says......

Jessica,

I labored 24 hours and pushed for two hours before they said Ava wasn't positioned correctly and probably a big baby and needed to take her by c-section. She was 10'6". If you feel the baby is big, I would voice your concern. Could they do an ultrasound before you decide on a c-section? By the title of your post, I thought you had the baby!! Good luck girl! Kelly F

Hang in there Jess. I know this is a very hard time for you, but it's all very normal. The baby is still moving and you are having contractions. Try not to doubt yourself. Having a baby naturally is always better than a c-section, even if you're a few days over your due date! Your beautiful baby will be here very soon!

Well you can drive down a bumpy road, or any of those other things to get it started. I'm sure you have heard all of those things already since you've had others. Maybe this one likes the warmth and coziness and just doesnt' want to come out yet! :) Hoping the doctor gives you some news to get'em outta there!

The wait is torture, but it will be so worth it in the end! I agree with calling the doctor, anytime you're concerned.

I hope it's baby time soon!

If the head is engaged, can't your water be broke? I agree with Kelly F though, an ultrasound may be worth it if you think the baby is big.

I'm with you in spirit Jessica!

I wish I had some advice or words of encouragement for you. I CAN tell you that I had a dream this morning that you had the baby today. Don't know if that means anything real or not, but...

Praying for this baby and for your sanity today.

Praying for you, sweet Jessica. It won't hurt to call the doctor. It is always good to call if you have concerns. Each baby is different. This baby just has a different time table.

Love you, Aunt mary

I'm sure everything is fine. Nicholas was a couple of days past his due date. I had no contractions until 3 hours before he was born. It will probably happen quick. Nick was 7lbs 9 oz so he wasn't a big baby really just wanted to stay in longer. Have faith.. The NICU is behind you I just know it. Love u.
