The duck is dead

You remember the duck? Well, he is dead. Much use and two holes, it was all he could take. So instead of going out and buying another, I put Alex in the tub like all big boys. He loves his new found freedom. I do put a towel down so it isn't as slippery, I'm not sure if he needs it, but it makes me feel better. He loves to touch the water coming out of the faucet, and is so happy he can turn all around. So goodbye duck, we don't need you anymore. (these pictures were taken with my cell phone so they are a bit grainy)

WOW! Alex seems to be getting more independent and comfortable with things . . sitting in the grass (which I admit is a bit itchy and pokey, especially early in the season), and takiing a bath in just water (no security ducky). :) He looks so happy ~ and you sound so good! Keeping your 'ducks' in a row can be hard, but I'm sending you luv from oh!

Isn't it awesome. Daniel has just now started taking baths (he use to co-shower with one of us) and he just loves being in there by himself. Although he doesn't have all the freedom Alex has, he still likes being in there by himself with his bath seat.

He is getting so big!! We buy a foam mat from target, ti works so great and it stays clean. My little guy would slip if I didnt have it. I think Fred Meyers has them too. I just cant get over how big Alex is these days, and still happy as canbe:)

Yeah! I am glad Alex enjoys his bath without the duck! You take better pictures with your cell phone than I take with my camera! Kelly F

Did I ever tell you that I went out and bought a duck the day after I saw Alex in it. It got a hole before the first bath (having a 4 year old pretend it's a canoe may have contributed), so I stuffed it back in the box, got my $10 back, and put her in the big tub. She also loves it, but I only do about an inch of water. She will try to crawl in it, which means she puts her face right in it. LOL
