Really??? Are you kidding me?

Here is the timeline:
Joel has the tummy thing, throwing up, no appetite, for almost a week.
One week to the day after he is better, Alex gets it, and it lasts for a week.
A week later (this Monday) I throw up 3 times in about 8 hours, felt fine, so I convinced myself it was a pregnancy thing. Wednesday Joel refuses snack after school, which was left over cupcakes, if you know Joel, you know this is weird. Thursday (last night) Joel throws up, early this morning Adam throws up.
We are going on 3 weeks with this, has it lasted this long in anyone's house? I'm telling you if Alex gets this again I will lose my mind. He just cant, he has just started eating well again, it took about 5 days to get him eating like he was before he got sick. He cant get this again. Don't you build up some kind of immunity once you have had it. Joel clearly didn't. HELP????

it cycles through a second time :( but...not everyone got it twice, if that makes you feel better.

isn't it awful?

It was at our house for four weeks. Everyone except me got it. So help me if it cycles through again! Nathan can't get it again. He has surgery in 2 weeks.

We did not have a tummy bug, but this sounds like what has been going on at our house since the beginning of February! Jeremy caught a cold and he just got the sniffles-very mild. Marissa started getting sick and I thought it was just going to be a cold, but it turned out to be pneumonia. Then I caught it and it turned into a killer cold for me- chills, aches stuffy runny nose. We all got better. Then three weeks ago, Jeremy got the sniffles again, a week after that, I caught the killer cold again. Marissa has steered clear this time, but this THING just lingers! Ugh! This has been such a sick winter for everyone I know.

I'll pray that Alex is able to stay well. I am sorry this just keeps cycling around your house. Hope everyone feels better soon!

Ugh, I'm so sorry, you probably just keep giving it to each other. I would just make sure they are washing their hands good and wash everything.

I'm sorry that you are having to go through all of this, especially being pregnant and packing to move on top of it!! Hang in there! It HAS to get better!

We haven't had the tummy thing, but all winter the cough and cold has tormented out house! CONSTANTLY!!! Our middle boys have seriously had a cough ALL winter and then Gavin got it bad, and you know it's not good when our special little ones get these bugs! I pray that it stops soon! It has to right???!! UHG!!

We had it once in our house and I really can't stand to get it again. Being pregnant and sick on top of that is horrible. I really hope Alex doesn't get it. I read your post about the ultrasound coming up. I know your fear but I will be praying for you on that day... We are in the process of moving too.. Lots of work.. Good luck.

Jeez......That sounds terrible. You'd think they couldn't get it again. I hope this is the end of it. I hope Alex (and you!) stay healthy!

Hi, I am a reader from afar and enjoy reading about your sweet boy and I usually don't comment but I had to on this one. My family (of 3) had the stomach bug from the week after Thanksgiving until after the new year. It was awful, we might go a week without it but low and behold someone would get it again and then we all would. It was bad, real bad so good luck!
