For my son's night-shift nurse who changed my life without saying a word. I am paying it forward, and I thank you.
"Hey mom...what's this???" cute......Kelly
He is so darn cute! Hope you got some sleep last night! :-) Always praying for you guys!
They become accustomed to their tubes so fast, don't they? I think Ava's leads are her security item. It's all they know. Anyone can have a pacifier or blankie, tight? LOLHe is adorable, though!
Oh, girl. You are braver than I. Maybe because I have been present so many times when Mal's Mic-Key was pulled out, and also the Mini-One, ... I look at Alex, and think he looks so STRONG! Eek, don't come looking for me when you have to stick it back in!
I'm sure he thinks nothing of tubes or medical supplies he uses... just part of who he is..
I could just eat him up!! So darn cute!!
I have to say, this is probably my least favorite photo. I can't look at the site where tubes/needles enter the skin, I get terrible flashbacks and pass out. You should have seen me in the simulation lab years ago when us wee little students were getting our training on the buttons. I passed out looking at the doll! That's one part of my job that I can't do well yet, most others are ok, but tube feedings and trac's just make me loopy.
Why do kids think their tubes are so interesting and fun?! CUTE!
I think that he's thinking, "Hey, where's the chow wagon? I'm hungry". You are just too cute Alex!
He is so darn cute!! Look at those chubby little thighs! But I have to agree......I'd be so scared he'd pull it out!
Kaelyn has the same curiosity with her tube. I cant let her explore it because she pulls on it though. Its just too cute :D She has a mickey.
